Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: March 23, 2026
At Wild Core Safari, we strive to provide a seamless wildlife experience. However, because our services involve government-regulated forest permits and private hotel bookings, our cancellation policy is governed by their respective terms.
By booking a tour or service with us, you agree to the following cancellation terms:
1. Safari Permit Cancellations (Jeep/Canter)
- Strictly Non-Refundable: Once a safari permit is issued by the Uttarakhand Forest Department, it is 100% non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be rescheduled.
- No Name Changes: Government rules do not allow changing the names of travelers once the permit is generated.
- Operational Closures: If the Forest Department closes a specific zone due to weather (monsoon/heavy rain), administrative reasons, or VIP movement, Wild Core Safari is not liable for any refund or compensation.
2. Tour Package & Hotel Cancellations
For resort stays and full tour packages, the following charges will apply based on the date of cancellation request:
- 30 Days or More before Arrival: 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- 15 to 30 Days before Arrival: 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- 0 to 15 Days before Arrival: 100% of the total tour cost (No Refund) will be charged.
- Peak Dates: For bookings during festivals (Holi, Diwali, Christmas, New Year) and long weekends, No Refund policy applies regardless of when the cancellation is made.
3. Service & Consultancy Fees
- Non-Refundable: The service fee charged by Wild Core Safari for expert guidance, documentation handling, and zone selection assistance is non-refundable once the planning process has started.
4. No-Show & Early Departure
- No-Show: If you fail to arrive at the designated pickup point or resort, it will be treated as a “No-Show,” and no refund or credit will be provided.
- Early Departure: If you choose to leave the tour or resort before the scheduled check-out date, no refund will be issued for the unused portion of the trip.
5. How to Request a Cancellation
All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to contact@wildcoresafari.com. Requests made via phone calls or WhatsApp messages will not be considered official until confirmed via email.
6. Force Majeure
Wild Core Safari is not responsible for any cancellations arising out of natural disasters, strikes, government lockdowns, or any “Act of God.” In such cases, we will coordinate with hotels to provide a credit note for future travel, subject to their approval.
